Basic carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and roofing

I can lay down 1 bundle in 2 minutes.

I can lay down 1 bundle in about 2 minutes. I am also experienced in shingle removal and tar paper/drip edge, ridge cap/ridge vent installation.

Residential Electrical

I am experienced in basic residential wiring; I know how to install breaker panels, single pole, 3 way and 4 way switches, receptacles, home runs, and ceiling fans.

I have built 3 dropped gable roofs, 4 benches, 2 chess boards, 1 nightstand, 1 table, 3 shelving units, 1 miniature model house, 2 dog houses, and I helped build 5 large pump houses.

I have spent about 30 hours mowing grass on three different zero-turn mowers (the largest of which is pictured). I also have considerable experience with trimmers, blowers, edgers, and push mowers, as well as with 4 and 2 stroke engine repair.

I held a leadership position in my church's faith based Boy Scouts-like program for 3 years in high school, being trained and mentored by strong christian men the whole way. I naturally assume a leadership role wherever I go when I feel there is a void. During my pre-apprenticeship, I very quickly took joy in training fellow students. On every group project, I naturally fell into a leadership role, teaching people what they needed to do, and explaining the importance of every step. I can easily take charge of a large group of people and am skilled at restoring order to chaos.

In my short time in the US Navy, we relied heavily on each other to get things done correctly. I of all people know the importance of being a team player and working well with others. Buddy checks were a staple of minute to minute life and we were heavily trained to communicate quickly and effectively with minimal room for confusion.
